It’s not that far away! Travis will have half the gallery while Mr. Dan May will be holding down the other half. It should be pretty amazing.

Update….Tear Drips Series 1 is now in North America! Unfortunately, we’re having a bit of a hard time determining exactly when the figures will make it from their current location (Vancouver) to Chicago, so we can’t set a hard release date just yet…but it will be soon! Thanks for your understanding!

Tear Drips Series 1 has 12 total designs. Retail pricing is $11.95 per blind box. A display case, should you choose to go that route, is 12 pieces and guarantees you one of each figure.

We’ve just posted a few more shots of updated sample paint jobs of the Tear Drip Series 1 releases we’ve received from the factory recently. Click the thumbnails above to view full images…these photos have the paint “fade” at the top that was missing from the samples we have been showing up until now. Things are moving along pretty good for the eventual “Spring 2009″ release of the entire series.

Also…we are currently selling the Monotone Zoltar Tear Drip Special release online and at our store in Chicago….or check out the shop page here for other locations that are carrying the release.

Zoltar – B&W special release is well on its way to San Fransisco and Wondercon. For any of you who aren’t able to come by the Squibbles Ink + rotofugi booth #1135  I’ve posted a picture here for all to see.  The other 12 pieces from the Tear Drip series 1 will also be on display.

Party on, Wayne? No, not that Garth, though Wayne’s World was set in suburban Chicago…

This is the Tear Drip Garth. Shown is the factory-printed sample we recieved just a few weeks ago. We’re making some changes to this one before it is released, but darn it if it doesn’t look great!

Travis did a wonderful job translating his original designs to be pad printed….this one uses eight(!) colors to reproduce what was originally handpainted in acrylic on canvas. 

More Drips coming soon…we’ll post a new one every few days.
